Résumé
We discuss the results of this exploratory experiment firstly from the breeding point of view, questioning the role of seeding rates in participative breeding programmes with CCP. Secondly, considering the wealth of new questions (association with a legumes to reduce weeds competition and mechanic work) brought up by the experiment, we wonder how to ensure on-farm experiments and find resources (human and financial) for this kind of research. Finally, from the agronomic point of view, we address the role of low seeding rates and of the intra-varietal diversity in a system of ecological intensification of wheat farming. We are totally aware that our study was carried out only on one year, it’s why our conclusions can’t be strong. We have to repeat a multi-year trial to confirm our observations.
