Comme l’illustrent les rapports de
BIOWALLONIE, l’Agriculture Biologique
(AB) connait, en Région wallonne,
un développement important
et continu depuis 2005. Ainsi,
depuis 2014, 10% des agriculteurs
wallons adhèrent au cahier des
charges de ce mode de production.
La surface agricole concernée a triplé
en 10 ans et correspond à 8,6%
de la Surface Agricole Utile (SAU)
wallonne. Elle est constituée à 85%
de prairies, ce qui souligne l’importance
de l’élevage de ruminants au
sein de ce secteur.

As illustrated by the reports of
BIOWALLONIE, Organic Agriculture
(AB) knows, in the Walloon Region,
an important development
and continuous since 2005. Thus,
since 2014, 10% of farmers
Walloons adhere to the book of
charges of this mode of production.
The agricultural area concerned has tripled
in 10 years and corresponds to 8.6%
of Useful Agricultural Area (UAA)
Walloon. It is made up of 85%
meadows, which underlines the importance
from ruminant farming to
within this sector.
