Résumé
Farming for Climate Justice is a collaboration between the Centre for Agroecology, Water & Resilience (CAWR) Coventry University, and the Bio-Economy Research Chair at the University of Cape Town (UCT).
Whether you are a researcher, activist or a practitioner (or all of these) passionate about transforming food and farming systems, we welcome you to these webinars in which we'll be discussing a series of interlinking themes and challenges to collectively think about what is required for transformative action toward a more just food system for all. You may be interested in attending one of all of the following sessions.
1. AGROECOLOGICAL SYSTEMS, CLIMATE DISRUPTION & URBANISATION

Bastien Deppois (CAWR) - Climate change impacts on agroecosystems – forecasting across different timescales.
Gareth Haysom – African Centre for Cities (UCT) - Urbanisation and its uneven impacts and pressures on farming systems.
2. NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS (NBS) - OPPORTUNISM OR OPPORTUNITY

Speakers:
Rachel Wynberg (UCT) - Critique of NBS discourse through heterogeneous seed systems.
Michel Pimbert (CAWR) - Reclaiming NBS through people's knowledge, participation and rights.
3. RESOURCING AGROECOLOGY TOWARDS ECONOMIES OF CARE & JUSTICE
