On se retrouve à Montignez pour la suite de l’essai de betteraves sucrières bio. Un mois après la plantation, la betterave sucrière est sarclée pour la première fois. Milo Stoecklin de la Fondation Rurale Interjurassienne montre dans la vidéo comment le IC-Weeder de Steketee et le Robocrop Inrow Weeder de Garford travaillent dans la variante semée et plantée. Il discute la performance de ces deux machines modernes provenant du maraîchage avec détection des plantes individuelles. Ces machines sont comparées au système de désherbage traditionnel avec herse-étrille et houe. Sa conclusion : la houe et la herse-étrille font un très bon travail. Le InRow Weeder de Garford est bon et le IC-Weeder de Steketee est satisfaisant. La prochaine vidéo apparaîtra après la récolte de betteraves sucrières, pour la mise en valeur de cet essai de betteraves et ses différentes techniques qu'on aura utilisé.

See you in Montinez for the rest of the organic sugar beet trial. A month after planting, the sugar beet is weeded for the first time. Milo Stoecklin from the Fondation Rurale Interjurassienne shows in the video how the IC-Weeder from Steketee and the Robocrop Inrow Weeder from Garford work in the seeded and planted variant. He discusses the performance of these two modern machines from market gardening with detection of individual plants. These machines are compared to the traditional weeding system with weed harrow and hoe. His conclusion: the hoe and the weeder do a very good job. Garford's InRow Weeder is good and Steketee's IC-Weeder is satisfactory. The next video will appear after the sugar beet harvest, to highlight this beet trial and its different techniques that we will have used.
