Résumé
This study provided preliminary insights for the joint analysis of technical and economic data from organic cattle farms. Though based on only three dairy farms it highlighted the existence of different strategies in terms of feed autonomy which could be explained based on recorded data and computed indicators. Therefore, these first results suggest promising perspectives for such a joint technical and economic analysis. In particular, future analyses include the extension of the analysis to additional farms while further developing the indicators presented here. Also, simulation studies could allow to assess the sensitivity of economic results to fluctuations
in input prices, operational costs, or level of feed autonomy. Last but not least, this research is conducted within a participatory framework. Results will be presented to farmers in order to be connected to their practices.
