Suite à la mise en évidence des premiers acides aminés limitants chez le taurillon BBBc en croissance recevant une ration à base de maïs (Frand et al., 2003), une expérience a été conduite en ferme expérimentale de manière à tester l’effet d’un complément en ces acides aminés, administré sous forme libre, sur les performances de croissance des taurillons BBBc.

Following the identification of the first amino acids limiting in growing BBBc young bulls receiving maize-based ration (Frand et al., 2003), an experiment been conducted on an experimental farm in order to test the effect of a supplement of these amino acids, administered in free form, on the growth performance of BBBc bull calves.
