L'objectif de cette thèse de diplôme est l'agriculture biologique. Son objectif est d'évaluer la positifs et négatifs de l'agriculture biologique du point de vue du développement durable vue. Le développement durable est généralement divisé en trois piliers - environnemental, économique et social. Cependant, cette thèse utilise la division en quatre piliers de la durabilité, dans lequel le pilier social est divisé en pilier socio-politique et humain, qui est plus montage dans ce cas. Cette division permet une évaluation plus détaillée de l'agriculture biologique. le la thèse traite également de la question de la durabilité de la ferme étudiée dans le futur. La méthode choisie pour la thèse est une étude de cas, grâce à laquelle un cas spécifique a été recherché et des réponses aux questions posées ont pu être trouvées. Ferme de Rainton dans le sud of Scotland sert de cas pour la partie pratique de la thèse. Depuis le début des années 1990 Rainton est en train de passer de la voie conventionnelle à la voie organique agriculture. L'entreprise a été diversifiée et par conséquent, la recherche pourrait également être ciblée sur l'aménagement du centre d'accueil, la fabrication de glaces ou de fromages. Grâce aux données d'entretiens, d'observations participantes et d'autres documents, un une image complexe de la ferme biologique a été créée. La recherche a montré que la conversion est un processus très exigeant, dont les résultats n'apparaissent qu'après un certain temps. Du point de vue environnemental, les changements positifs dans les écosystèmes sur les terres agricoles et les environs les plus proches de la ferme sont clairement visibles. La couche socio-politique du bio l'agriculture montre que les décisions sociétales et l'humeur de la société influencent fortement les agriculteurs et les entreprises à la fois positivement et négativement. Il a été observé que la conversion est la plus exigeante du point de vue humain et économique, car elle crée un et des tensions de longue date tant sur le plan financier que personnel. Les résultats de la recherche ne peuvent être généralisés à toutes les entreprises d'agriculture biologique, Pourtant, ils peuvent être utilisés comme exemple et source d'inspiration pour les agriculteurs planifier une conversion des méthodes conventionnelles à l'agriculture biologique.

The focus of this diploma thesis is organic farming. Its goal is to evaluate the positives and the negatives of organic farming from the sustainable development point of view. Sustainable development is usually divided into three pillars – environmental, economic and social. However, this thesis uses the division into four pillars of sustainability, in which the social pillar is divided into socio-political and human pillar, which is more fitting in this case. This division allows a more detailed evaluation of organic farming. The thesis also deals with the question of sustainability of the researched farm in the future. The method chosen for the thesis is a case study, thanks to which a specific case was researched and answers for the stated questions could be found. Rainton farm in the South of Scotland serves as the case for the practical part of the thesis. Since the early 1990s Rainton has been in the process of conversion from the conventional to the organic way of farming. The business has been diversified and therefore the research could be focused also on the development of the visitor centre, ice-cream or cheese making. Thanks to the data from interviews, participant observation and other documents, a complex picture of the organic farm was created. The research has shown that the conversion is a very demanding process, whose results show only after some time. From the environmental point of view, the positive changes in the ecosystems on the farm land and the farm’s closest surroundings can be clearly seen. The socio-political layer of organic farming shows that societal decisions and the mood in society strongly influence farmers and businesses both positively and negatively. It has been observed that the conversion is the most demanding from the human and economic point of view, since it creates a major and long-standing strain both financially and personally. The results of the research cannot be generalised on all organic farming businesses, yet they can be used as an example and inspiration for similarly focused farmers, who are planning a conversion from conventional to organic farming methods.
