Lancé par la FRAB Bretagne, le programme d’expérimentation PERSYST-Maraîchage (2019-2024) s’intéresse à l’amélioration de la fertilité biologique du sol en maraîchage biologique diversifié. Une première phase d’enquêtes, auprès de maraîchers bio de Bretagne et de Loire-Atlantique, a permis d’identifier des pratiques innovantes. Ces dernières ont été classées en quatre types différents : - rotations extensives en plein champ : - engrais verts sous abris ; - planches permanentes avec travail du sol mécanisé réduit ; - planches permanentes sans travail du sol mécanisé. Pour chacune d’entre elles, les agriculteurs ont exprimé leur niveau de satisfaction sur l’organisation du travail, l’autonomie en intrants, le rendement, la rentabilité économique. La suite du projet prévoit, d’une part, le suivi de la mise en place de ces pratiques chez 10 maraîchers bio et, d’autre part, la co-conception de deux systèmes innovants qui seront testés dans la station expérimentale PAIS, à Morlaix, dans le Finistère.

Launched by FRAB Bretagne, the PERSYST-Market gardening experimental program (2019-2024) focuses on improving the biological fertility of the soil in diversified organic market gardening. A first phase of surveys, among organic market gardeners from Brittany and Loire-Atlantique, made it possible to identify innovative practices. These have been classified into four different types: - extensive rotations in the open field: - green manures under shelters; - permanent planks with reduced mechanized tillage; - permanent planks without mechanized tillage. For each of them, the farmers expressed their level of satisfaction with the organization of work, autonomy in inputs, yield, economic profitability. The rest of the project foresees, on the one hand, the monitoring of the implementation of these practices in 10 organic market gardeners and, on the other hand, the co-design of two innovative systems that will be tested in the PAIS experimental station, in Morlaix, in Finistère.
