Organic vegetable products may be contaminated with pesticide residues due to several factors: contaminated irrigation water or groundwater, cultivation on contaminated sites, even if unauthorized use. This work presents some aspects and literature data regarding the presence and quantification methods of pesticide residues in organic vegetal products.
